Product Description

The internal bespoke oak veneer 18G glazed FD60 fire door is simple and stylish while maintaining great functionality.

This single 60 minute fire door is glazed with a 150mm x 1150mm glass panel.

All our glazing options are fire rated including:
- Clear Pyrobelite 12.
- Georgian Wired Polished Plate (GWPP) glass.
- Frosted glass sandblasting one face of the Pyrobelite 12.

Handles and additional ironmongery are not included.

This door is sold and certified as a single 60 minute fire door.

Delivery and Lead times

Standard Fire Door Delivery £95 for the first door with any additional door £25 each.

Double Doors £120 for the first double set with any additional set £50 each.

Bespoke orders dispatched usually within 2-3 weeks which take longer due to the manufacturing process and make up of the doors. You'll receive notifications by email or text on the latest status of your order.

Fire Door Frames (Single & Double) Single £25 and then £15 for each additional frame. Double £45 then £15

A month late doors are different colour

This company is an absolute disaster the doors arrived a month late and the veneers were totally different on each door. I ordered a batch of doors all at the same time but all the veneers were different and do not match. They told me in the small print they can be varied but these are totally different customer service do not reply to emails and you have to chase them if you want to reply if they reply at all go and find a decent company. That’s my advice.

Unfortunately the customer ordered single doors and not a door and a leaf set, he then installed the doors before checking them against the others and their locations. These door were then installed as a door and a leaf and are therefore not certified.

Any experienced joiner/contractor who is competent knows that double doors and door and a leaf have to be ordered together and also certified that way.

It is very clear on all our general description of products, for certification purposes, that they need to be ordered as a set. This is yet another reason why natural coloured veneers are 'best matched' from stock, or 'book matched'. We make this very clear when either pairs of doors, or door and a leaf are ordered. We would not supply mis-matched veneer doors to this extent, although as a natural material there is always slight variations in colour.

We have left our response public so customers know both sides of any issues when reporting on our customer service and products. Its also a gentle reminder to read the information on any product carefully and if a customer has any issue with their products, to inform us immediately or within 24 hours without fitting them first, then we can see how we can help but once installed it turns into a difficult situation to resolve.

If it was a poorly match door and leaf, we would certianly help to resolve the issue, but not when its weeks after the doors were ordered and received and then installed. However, as stated above the fundamental issue here is they were not ordered as a door and a leaf, only as single doors. We have documentary evidence to show the doors ordered.

Frequently Asked Questions

There are strict guidelines whereby only 3mm per side of a door and 5mm from the base can be trimmed.

FD30 offers 30 minute fire protection and is suitable for all domestic situations. FD30’s is available in 44mm thickness. FD60’s offer 60 minute fire protection, these are available in 54mm thickness and are suitable for higher risk premises and some high risk rooms such as boiler rooms or plant rooms etc.

All glazing provided by us is fire rated and available in the following finishes:

- Georgian Wired Polished Plate (GWPP) – You can see the wire but it is in clear glass.

- Clear CGI Pyroguard (Clear) – Completely clear.

- Obscure/Frosted (Sandblasted finish to one side) – Clear glass made obscure by sandblasting one face.

You are only able to paint or varnish plywood fire doors with any good quality product.

Certification regarding the conformance with BS476 pt 22 is available on request. Many doors will come with their own unique reference sticker affixed to the top. Please do not remove these.

Due to some doors being bespoke an original door image is not possible at present, and a design drawing is provided as a guide. We're in the process of updating all our images to resolve this issue, so should you need further guidance we shall do our best to provide a better image were possible
